When Lizeth was deciding on a location for her daughter Serena's 3rd birthday, she knew she wanted it to fit in with her Cowgirl theme. The perfect place? A petting zoo set right on a real farm! Zoomars Petting Zoo in San Juan Capistrano, CA was the perfect backdrop, complete with pony rides, a real train, a large variety of animals to feed, and tons of hay barrels!
A watering hole is a must for any cowgirl party! You can re-create this by printing a simple sign from your computer using a font like The Dead Saloon from dafont.com. Lizeth had custom labels printed for the mini water bottles, like these from KatzzmcdDesigns on Etsy, $7.50 for the design of your choice and then you print and glue them yourself at home! I definitely suggest going with the mini water bottles for a child's birthday party, so often you see half drunk bottles sitting around. For the adults, Lizeth also had Starbucks Frappuccino's displayed in a galvanized beverage tub, like this one from amazon.com, $28. She used cute chalkboard labels for the drink dispenser and the food cards. You can buy these adhesive labels from Koyal Wholesale, only $2.50 for a 12-Pack! The cow print cups can be found on BirthdayExpress.com, 8 for $3.00.
All of Lizeth's food displays were adorable! The S'Mores Pops were stuck in a small hay barrel, similar to this one from Walmart.
The kids were all given cute cards with complimentary food trays for the animals and train and pony rides. Hayden loved giving the goats lettuce straight through the fence!
For party favors, Lizeth gave each of the kids cowboy hats, bandana's, small sheriff badges, bags of gold from Serena's Bank, AND the most adorable handmade stick horses! You can find a huge assortment of choices on Etsy.com, like these from Yeehaw Horsies, 12 for $150.
Lizeth threw a very special party for her adorable daughter and we were lucky enough to be part of the celebration! I hope these gave you some ideas for your next event, Happy Planning!
